About eNumeracy
eNumeracy.com is "located" in Greenville, North Carolina. eNumeracy is a virtual home for the research products created and tested by Dr. Scott Methe and his research team at East Carolina University. eNumeracy is currently developing, testing, and refining assessment tools and intervention techniques for elementary-level mathematics.

eNumeracy's Origins
Dr. Methe founded eNumeracy.com while completing his doctoral dissertation. Through this research, it became clear that although the math curriculum is complex, just a few key skills provide a powerful foundation for later success.

A Variety of School and Student Support Services:
Consultation, Intervention, Evaluation, and Professional Development
Since 2003, Dr. Methe has been invited to develop dozens of personalized assessments, trainings, workshops, and talks for local, regional, and national audiences, schools, state education agencies, and districts on improving early numeracy. Below are a variety of training and staff development topics.
Early Numeracy/Mathematics Evaluation - we offer overall evaluations of student's mathematical strenghts and weaknesses (pre-K through middle school). This evaluation can be in isolation or used as part of a psychoeducational evaluation. One of our staff members trained in mathematics assessment will administer a number of diagnostic measures and comprehensive evaluations. Following the evaluation, a comprehensive report will be delivered with recommendations for intervention and instruction.
Individual Tutoring - students are instructed by qualified tutors trained in providing the most up-to-date and research-based instructional techniques with a focus on teaching skills that the student may have not yet developed.
Using AIMSweb Math and Early Math Measures for Screening and Progress Monitoring (PK-12)
Augmenting AIMSweb Screening and Progress Monitoring with eNumeracy Diagnostic Tests (PK - Middle School)
Comprehensive Schoolwide Improvement in Mathematics (Elementary Level)
Math Assessment for Tiers I, II, and III of an RtI Model
Math Intervention for Tier II and III of an RtI Model
Local Curriculum Development for Elementary Mathematics
Many of these topics have already been developed as "packaged" trainings, but we will tailor not only these topics but any new or combined topics to your school or district may be interested in developing. Keep in mind that we do not promote specific programs or technologies, we simply train schools to focus assessment, instruction, curriculum, and intervention on the "big ideas" of beginning mathematics.
