Guerdwich desired to play basketball and be popular for it so badly that he signed up as a 15 year old named Jerry Joseph at Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. He was a very good player in his actual high school days and I suppose it wasn't enough. He had to experience again the glory days, until someone tipped off authorities about his little system. His actions really expense the basketball team to have to forfeit the whole season, regardless of how good they were or were not without Guerdwich.
