eNumeracy eScreener-K

eNumeracy eScreener

The eScreener-K is an automated, self-contained data collection and display program that schools can use for screening kindergarten students in the fall, winter, and spring. The eScreener has 12 brief items that examine four areas of early informal number sense: relative size, ordinality, partitioning, and cardinality. The screeners provide an overall score as well.

The test is given by having students respond to teacher questions either by pointing or saying a response that the administrator records. When the test is done, the score is automated.

The eScreener-K is only available for use on Apple's iPad (www.apple.com/ipad).

After we beta test the eScreener-K, we will develop the eScreener-1 for first grade.
